Westeel Homes is a residential building business which specialises in building complete steel framed homes for residents in country areas as well as in the Mandurah and Rockingham shires.
Westeel Homes will build in country areas where other project builders will not venture and usually on rural blocks of land, often with difficult access.
Over the last two years the business has tripled in size due to the building boom in the state and the length of delay project builders have from the time a client signs the contract to commencement date and completion of the building. The average project home is taking about 18 months to complete. Westeel Homes can complete a home in approximately 8 to 10 months from Council approval's depending on size and difficulty of site. This reduces the waiting period for clients and also reduces rental costs for the client whilst their new home is under construction.
The time frame of construction with Westeel Homes has been favourably accepted in the market place.
As the director Jim Aikman is also the registered builder and supervisor, the client does not have to deal with copious number of different staff during the construction period and with Jim being a country person himself, he is able to understand and relate to the customer through the entire process from quoting, contract signing to handover of the completed residence.
It is with this approach to customer service Westeel Homes has been able to triple its client base in a very short time.
Westeel Homes builds approximately 60 new homes per year and strives for quality not quantity. You will not see expensive advertising by us as we don’t need it……our business thrives on referrals and repeat customers. In addition our conservative attitude to advertising helps keep the price of our homes realistic.
Jim Aikman, the director is hands on with the quoting, purchasing and supervising of every home, thus ensuring a trouble free building experience for his clients.
Susan Aikman, his wife is the sales and administration manager and also an interior and exterior colour consultant.
